Tori Spelling has turned to the return of beloved McDonald’s McRib for “comfort” following estranged husband Dean McDermott’s explosive interview.

“The comfort of an old friend is back just when you need it most,” the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum wrote on her Instagram Story on Wednesday over an image of the fast food sandwich’s packaging.

Spelling’s cryptic announcement comes on the same day that the Daily Mail published a joint interview with McDermott in which the “Tori and Dean” alum revealed intimate details about how his and Spelling’s marriage fell apart.

“All Tori has ever done to this day is want me to be happy and healthy, and I caused a lot of damage and pain to that woman,” said McDermott, who is currently in Woodland Hills, Calif., in rehab after rehabilitation. the exit.

Speaking about the final days of his drug and alcohol use before seeking treatment, McDermott said he found himself “drinking a pint of tequila every night” along with “a handful of drugs [prescription medication]”, as his “beautiful family” was in “the other room”.

The Due South star – who shares Liam, 16, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, 6, with Spelling – admitted he hadn’t seen his children since early June, when Spelling moved out of their home.

Around the same time, McDermott posted — and later deleted — an emotional divorce announcement while on a roll.

The 56-year-old Canadian actor revealed that the announcement led to Spelling helping McDermott find a rehab center to get treatment for his drug and alcohol use.

Despite Spelling’s help and McDermott’s remorse, both parties have begun seeing other people—though neither has filed for divorce.

McDermott has been seeing Lily Kahlo for several months, and Spelling, 50, was recently spotted locking horns with ad executive Ryan Kramer.

As for McDermott’s drunken episodes, the actor told the outlet that he hopes to fix things by staying on the straight and narrow.

“I’m going to spend the rest of my life making amends because I took something that was really beautiful and I just tore it down year after year, day after day.”

Regarding the “pain” and “damage” he caused Spelling, McDermott said: “I take responsibility for that today. And that’s the biggest fix I’ll ever have to make.
