Many chain restaurants prepare for Thanksgiving with special holiday menus or heat-and-serve holidays. Many local restaurants in the Inland Empire are taking the day off. But some, especially in tourist destinations, will serve turkey on Nov. 23 or sell takeout turkey or desserts in the days leading up to it.

Here are some of the Riverside County restaurants that have announced plans for Thanksgiving.

Boy Burgers: The restaurant is taking orders for whole pies and cheesecake with a 48-hour advance notice, according to a Facebook video. It is recommended to call ahead to see what is available. 167 N. Karmalita St. 951-929-2142


Restaurant Gastronom: The mountain restaurant will serve roast turkey dinners, according to a Facebook post. 54381 Ridgeview Drive.

Lake Elsinore

Jack’s Bar-BQ on the Water: The restaurant will serve turkey dinners on Nov. 23, according to its Facebook page. 1604 Lakeshore Drive. 951-245-6500,


Derby Room: This sports bar will serve turkey dinners with pumpkin pie for $23.99 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 23, according to a Facebook post. 3230 Hamner Ave Unit 402.

Said Maza Mediterranean Grill: The restaurant is accepting takeout turkey dinner orders for $225, according to a Facebook post. 2395 Hamner Ave.


Mission Inn Hotel & Spa: Mission Inn Restaurant will serve brunch and turkey dinner. Duane’s, the steakhouse, will also serve a traditional turkey dinner for $125. The resort’s Festival of Lights begins on Saturday, November 18 this year. 3649 Mission Inn Ave.

Eat Marketplace: The farm-to-table eatery offers turkey, ham and vegan takeout dinners. The order deadline is Friday, November 17. Pickup is November 21-22. 28410 Old Town Front St. 951-694-3663.

Europe Village: The winery’s Bolero Restaurante will serve a brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on November 23. Cost is $79 for adults, $39 for children. Reservations are recommended. 41150 Via Europa. 951-414-3802,

Penfold’s CafĂ© & Bakery: The restaurant is taking pie orders, according to a Facebook post. 28250 Old Town Front St.

Ponte Vineyard Inn: Bouquet Restaurant and Bar will be serving a three-course dinner from 3 to 7 p.m. on November 23. Reservations are required. 35001 Rancho California Road. 951-676-7898,

South Shore Winery: The resort’s Vineyard Rose restaurant will be open all day and will serve Thanksgiving dinner from 5 to 9 p.m., according to its website. Reservations are required. 34843 Rancho California Road,

Small Barn: The Old Town restaurant will serve a turkey dinner from noon to 6 p.m. on Nov. 23, according to its Facebook page. 28535 Old Town Front St., 951-225-2820.

Swing Inn Cafe: The Old Town barbecue restaurant owned by “Breaking All” actor Dean Norris is selling turkey breasts for $40. Order by phone and collect by 2pm on November 22nd. 28676 Old Town Front St. 951-676-2321,

The Gambling Cowboy: The Old Town steakhouse is taking orders through Nov. 19 for $242 hot and served turkey dinners to be picked up between noon and 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22, according to a Facebook post. 42072 Fifth St. 951-699-2895,

The Smok’d Hog: The Vail Ranch restaurant is accepting turkey orders through Sunday, November 19. The cost is $100, and the birds will be available for pickup from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Nov. 23, according to a Facebook post. Vail Headquarters, 32117 Temecula Parkway. 951-383-8066,
