New Mercy Health Program Helps Meet Feminine Hygiene Needs | News

Mercy Health-Lourdes Hospital has launched a new program that health professionals hope will help local girls and young women learn about and manage their menstrual cycles by providing feminine hygiene products and educational materials to those in need.

The Mercy Health Foundation-Lourdes provided Mercy Health Paducah Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB / GYN) with a grant through funds from the Mission Outreach Program to create 1,000 basic kits for the period. Each kit contains approximately three months of feminine hygiene products including sanitary pads, panty liners, tampons, a detailed kit flyer, and other toiletries.
