Dawood comes to DCT with a passionate perspective on high-quality care and unique perspectives as an adolescent Stage IV cancer survivor, healthcare professional, and digital health pioneer. His past experiences as Head of Commercial strategy and President of BetterUp Care at BetterUp, Chief Medical Officer and Head of Sales for Calm, and Chief Medical Officer at Ginger and President of Ginger Medical Corporation (now Headspace Health), offer valuable insights and leadership this will help further shape the future of DCT as it sets new standards for care and access to high quality care for children and adolescents.

Dawood’s deep background in empowering and enabling physicians through the use of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) will be instrumental in creating new efficiencies and opportunities for DCT to accelerate learnings across various patient groups and to create a more personalized experience that provides insights to parents and other key stakeholders to tie care delivery to tangible results.
Dawood’s leadership and experience driving innovation will build on the company’s strong foundation and accelerate its growth, leading it on a path toward achieving its future vision to expand access to high-quality pediatric therapies.

In addition to Dawood’s extensive experience in digital behavioral health, he also boasts an impressive educational background. He holds a BA in chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, an MPH with an emphasis in cancer epidemiology from Yale University, an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine.
